Preset Indexers
Anaheim Automation manufactures the PCL451 Manual Preset Indexer, which is a single-axis board that can be operated manually with thumbwheel or rotary switches, or with a programmable logic controller (PLC). With features that initiate indexing, homing or jogging functions, this simple Manual Preset Indexer is popular for feed-to-position, feed-to-sensor, and cut-to-length applications. A preset number of pulses is determined by the internal count switches (provided) or an external count module (purchased separately). The Manual Preset Indexer is compatible with the Anaheim Automation stepper motor driver, or can be purchased with a stepper motor driver and power supply incorporated in a "Driver Pack" package.

A preset number of pulses is determined by the internal count switches (provided) or an external count module, such as the AA1760-5 or similar device (purchased separately). The PCL451 provides functions such as Home, Hard and Soft Limit inputs, two Homing modes, Jog/Run, Fast Jog and switch-selectable Base Speed, Maximum Speed, and Acceleration/Deceleration.
