Pulse Generator circuits are used to contol the speed and positioning of Servo and Stepper motors with pulse trains. The internal configuration of these ICs includes an S-Shaped or Linear Acceleration/Deceleration pulse generator, a linear interpolation divider, an automatic deceleration point calculator based on trapezoidal or triangular drive, a 2-Phase clock converter with multiple counters, a return-to-orgin sensor interface, a limit sensor interface, servo driver interface, and an 8-bit general purpose input and output.
