The KYOPAL X7000 Series Motion Control LSI ICs generates output pulses up to 5 Mpps for controlling the speed and positioning of pulse train input-type stepper and servo motors. The KYOPAL X7000 LSI ICs also enables 2, 4, or 8-Axis motor control. The internal configuration includes an S-Shaped or Linear Acceleration/Deceleration pulse generator, a linear interpolation divider, an automatic deceleration point calculator based on trapezoidal or triangular drive, a 2-Phase clock converter with a multi-counter, a return-to-orgin sensor interface, a limit sensor interface, servo driver interface, and an 8-bit general purpose input and output. The KYO-X7000 Ics also provide an interface with a host CPU which allows the chip to be used a peripheral LSI.
