Anaheim Automation's Ball Screw Support Units are valuable accessories designed to enhance your Ball Screw system and are ideal for for light and heavy-load applications. They are compatible with Ball Screw shafts from 10mm to 50mm in diameter and input shafts from 6mm to 40mm in diameter, and they include all of the necessary components (i.e. bearing locknuts, spacers, snap rings, etc.) for mounting Ball Screw shafts. Both the fixed-side and support-side (a.k.a. floated-side) units are available in either rectangular or round styles to provide solutions for a diverse range of linear motion applications. Fixed-side support units secure the completed Ball Screw shaft to a motor and remain in a fixed position through the use of a lock nut, whereas supported-side (floated side) support units utilize a bearing and snap ring to stabilize the opposite end of the finished Ball Screw shaft. To prevent corrosion and rust, the surface of each unit is treated with black oxide, minimizing maintenance requirements and allowing for extended life expectancy of the unit.
