Brushless Motor Control
Anaheim Automation's Brushless Motor Controller IC Chip are MOS integrated circuits designed to generate the signals necessary to control a three phase or four phase Brushless DC Motor. They are the basic building blocks of a Brushless DC Motor Controller.

* Open or Closed loop motor speed control
* Externally selectable input to output code for 60°, 120°, 240°, or 300° electrical sensor spacing.
* Three or Four Phase operation
* Overcurrent Sensing
* Analog Speed control
* +5v to +28v operation (Vss - Vdd)
* Direction Control.

The IC Chip consists of a decoder which provides proper commutation sequencing, a frequency-to-pulse width converter and error amplifier for closed loop motor speed control, a PWM comparator and sawtooth oscillator for external driver power control and a 6v reference generator for supplying power to motor sensors. The IC Chip operates from 10v to 18v and provides CMOS compatible outputs for interfacing with external power devices.

While the LSI-LS7260 is designed for driving NPN and PNP transistors, the LSI-LS7260 is designed to drive both NMOS and PMOS Power FETs and develops a full 12v drive for both the N-Channel and P-Channel devices when using a 12v power supply.
