Stepper Drivers with Pulse Generators
Anaheim Automation manufactures stepper motor drivers with built-in pulse generators, in three current ranges. These stepper motor drivers are offered in single-axis printed circuit board, enclosed modular, and Driver Packs styles. The Driver Packs with built-in Pulse Generators employ the bilevel drive technique and include a matched power supply, while stepper motor drivers like model MBC10P31 are economical microstep drivers that integrate a programmable pulse generator, and are packaged in a sheet metal enclosure. The printed circuit board and modular styles require a power supply, which is purchased separately.
Anaheim Automation manufactures drivers with built-in pulse generators. Models MBC25PG1, MBC25P11, and MBC25P22 with an output capacity of 0.2 to 2.5 Amps, are designed as printed circuit boards, to easily incorporate into a machine or process. The MBC25PG1's internal pulse generator is a linear ramping PG, and features adjustable Base and Max Speeds, independent adjustments for Acceleration (ramping up) and Deceleration (ramping down), jumper-selectable external or on-board max speed potentiometer and a jumper-selectable deceleration profile. Models MBC25P11 and MBC25P22 are economical Pulse Generators that are designed to be programmable using a serial port to select exact speeds, making them ideal for conveyor applications. The MBC25P11 has one integrated circuit driving up to two motors, four motion profiles and limit switch inputs. The MBC25P22 has two integrated circuits driving one motor each, allowing for higher speeds when driving two motors. The MBC25P22 also has two motion profiles, but has no limit switch inputs. All drivers in this series require a power supply, which is purchased separately.
Anaheim Automation manufactures single-axis Driver Packs with built-in Pulse Generators and matched power supply. These Driver Packs employ a bilevel drive technique, so that they do not create the EMI, RFI, and motor heating problems associated with most chopper drivers. The DPS32PG1 model is an open-frame design that can drive 4-phase stepper motors rated at 0.5 to 3.5 Amps per phase. The DPD72PG1 is an enclosed model designed to operate 4-phase stepper motors rated at 1 to 7 amps per phase, and includes a cooling fan. Both the DPS32PG1 and DPD72PG1 Driver Packs includes a ramping pulse generator that has adjustable Base and Max Speeds and separate adjustments for Acceleration and Deceleration.
Anaheim Automation's model MBC10P31 is an economical single-axis driver that integrates a programmable pulse generator. This driver/pulse generator has an output capability of 1.5 to 10 Amps and the internal controller can store two different motion profiles and offers Soft and Hard limit inputs. This bipolar driver can handle a wide range of 4, 6 and 8-lead stepper motors. The MBC10P31 is packaged in a sheet metal enclosure and requires a power supply, which is purchased separately.
